I love Central Park. I have been lucky enough to see it basking in summer sunshine and glistening in winter. I have taken a carriage ride through the Park and not even the rain couldn’t dampened our enthusiasm I snapped some amazing photos (I’ll share these with you at some point) which I wouldn’t have got if the weather hadn’t been so dreadful. I’ve also ice skated in Central Park (call me a big kid, but I still love saying that!) although I had to remember to keep looking up and take in the scenery. I had wanted to do this for as long as I can remember and I’m so glad I got to do it when I did.

I wanted to do something in Central Park that I haven’t done before and that is simply to stroll through the Park and explore everything it has to offer. It helped that the sun was shining and with a spring in my step I set off following a map I had picked up at a Park information kiosk. There are so many places within Central Park that are recognisable from the movies that it feels so familiar and comfortable.
